Athens Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour
The smartest way to orient yourself on day one — a double-decker circuit covering 20 stops from Syntagma to Piraeus, with commentary in 16 languages. Two routes: the city loop (Acropolis, Monastiraki, Panathenaic Stadium) and the coastal line (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni). Tickets valid 24 or 48 hours.

Kerameikos — Athens Ancient Cemetery Walk
The most undervisited UNESCO-listed site in Athens — a 3,000-year-old cemetery where Pericles gave his famous funeral oration, and where the Sacred Way began its route to Eleusis. Far fewer tourists than the Acropolis; the on-site museum holds some of the finest funerary sculpture in Greece.
