Changing of the Guards (Evzones)
Every hour on the hour at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Evzone guards execute a slow, high-stepping ceremonial march in full traditional dress — white foustanella kilt, tsarouchia shoes with red pom-poms. The full Sunday ceremony at 11:00 draws crowds; weekday changes are unhurried and equally worth seeing. Always free.
